Coppino, a new innovative proposal for lovers of street food and typical Apulian cuisine, arrives in Alberobello.

Coppino is an idea born from a group of young people from Alberobello, a project that wants to tell the love of their land through food.

The concept is to make the public experience their grandmother's classic Sunday lunch, a journey through aromas and flavours to rediscover the simplicity and genuineness of a time gone by. 

Coppino is the result of the adventure of these young people: left to the north to study and work... returned to play an active role in the community.

A return home, a journey back in time so as not to forget the sacrifices made and to share the culture of good food and traditional dishes that taste like 'home' with anyone who wants to.  

Coppino (in Apulian dialect cuppein - kop'pine) is the ladle, the cutlery used for serving or stirring food during cooking. But for us Apulians, it is also the unit of measurement used by our grandmothers to bring the right amount of food to the table and dishes. 

Orecchiette pasta is the queen of the menu. They come in different variations, seasoned with a wide choice of sauces from grandmother's recipes. Sauces based on turnip tops, fresh tomatoes, basil, meat, etc.

Endless combinations to suit everyone's taste. Each recipe is a love message to Puglia and its traditions.

Served in a cup that lends itself well to today's hectic pace, they are the perfect tasty solution for a quick and easy lunch break.
